Literature Text

Her wise sagittarian eyes that smile
Made him wonder for a while
What she was thinking.
He didn’t want (to make) her mad
He couldn’t bear (to see) her sad
He only loved her laughing.

Summer, in heat, and she wore those pheromones
Like sexy clothes. Short, tight blue jeaned skirt and pink top tones.
Barely concealing her intentions towards that proud cat of the zodiac.

They laughed in unison, as though sharing some secret unknown bond.
The attracted air between them, thick with anticipation.
Yet, behind her eyes, she hid her desires, wanting him,
By her grace to be inspired – to kiss, her lips and find bliss between them.

The glass glistened green with absinthe
Tastes and feelings new to this twenty-something in that moment.
While a boyish grin gleamed in his brandy brown thirty-something aged eyes.
And she was consumed by a passion she could, but nearly, disguise.

A summer moment in time of younger woman's crush on an older man.

The poem in itself may seem incomplete at the end... however as it was just a moment in time, and has yet to be continued, then that's the way I choose to leave it... open ended with the possibility of continuation.

I love the. You hjave brilliant imagery. I relaly like the concept, but I have a few suggestions. I feel like alot of th rhymes are forced. Myabe if you wrote it without rhyme, it would be stronger. I also would like it beter were it not all bolded. Did you have a particular reason for doing that?
